About Us

Tisbury Surgery is a two partner practice and was purpose built in 1987 and extended in 2003. We are contracted to NHS England and offer a comprehensive range of GP services.

Dr. Adam Smith leads the G.P. team, which comprises two salaried G.P.s – Dr. Hannah Bintcliffe and Dr. Tom Marshall as well as a G.P retainer – Dr. Maggie Carson.  We are also a G.P. training Practice so welcome qualified doctors who wish to pursue a career in General practice.  Dr. Dan Chapman will be with us until August whilst he completes his G.P. training.

The nurse team is led by Sister Victoria Smith, who is supported by nurses Samuel Turner (asthma/respiratory specialist and Tracy Slater (our diabetic nurse specialist) as well as Health Care Assistants, Mrs. Sarah Clarke and Mrs. Sharon McGookin (our carer’s lead).

All these staff are ably supported by members of the reception and admin team.

We offer a wide range of G.P. services and are open each weekday from 0800 to 1830 and offer regular early and late opening hours to try to meet the needs of our working population.

We are a teaching practice which means that we may have a trainee GP or “registrar” working with us for six or twelve months.

We are part of the Sarum West Primary Care Network

Patient Feedback

We encourage patients to give us feedback on their experiences at the practice.
