Appointments can be telephone, video consultation or face to face with the GP of your choice. Please specify what you would like when booking.

If you would prefer a male or female GP then please do let the receptionist know and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.

You may see whichever doctor you like, though we strongly urge you to return to the same doctor for better continuity of care. If you know you are going to need an appointment, such as for follow up of a condition, please try and make the appointment in advance, rather than ringing on the day you need it. This way you are more likely to get a time that is convenient for you and we are able to balance the workload better.

We have a limited number of same day urgent phone calls that you can access by calling at 8am on the day. We endeavour to respond to any emails we receive within 3 working days but this is not a good way to access urgent care. We will not accept emails to book appointments either, you can book them directly online or by calling the receptionists.

We will see anyone that feels they need to be seen that day in our “Emergency Sit & Wait Clinic”.

To attend the “Sit & Wait” clinic which starts at 12pm, please telephone reception to book into the clinic as early as possible. We cannot guarantee a particular clinician. Patients will be seen in order of clinical need i.e. chest pain before toe pain etc. You will be asked by the receptionist to provide a reason for attending for this reason. As the name suggests you will be asked to sit in the waiting room and wait until you are called. Most of the time this would be within an hour but on busy days such as Monday or days after bank holidays this may be considerably longer.

Appointments are at 10 minute intervals and are for one patient. Children under 16 should normally be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You are welcome to book a double appointment if you have multiple issues.

If you cannot keep an appointment please tell us so that it can be given to someone else.

If you move house or change your phone number (including you mobile number) it is important that we know – please tell us.
