Only the doctors and nurses who may be involved in your care have access to your medical records. The receptionists are involved in filing records and passing messages to doctors and nurses. The Practice Manager and her assistant help compile reports for litigation and employment.

The practice summariser is responsible for summarising patient’s records on to the computer. All  surgery staff members are obliged by their contracts to keep any information strictly confidential.
